Best Defensive Girl: Alli

MVP: Adam

Draft Review

Alli: It’s hard to overperform as the number one overall pick, but Alli managed to do it. Earning both best offensive and defensive girl, Alli has certainly cemented herself as one of the most well-rounded players out there.

Brian: Despite high expectations and the constant drinking, my first pick, ole Uncle B, proved more than deserving of his high pick. With several great plays in left, a few diving plays at short, and a solid day at the plate, Uncle Brian is showing the young whippersnappers out there that he’s still got it.

Walker: Despite some serious injuries, Walker still put up a solid performance for his team. While obviously not what he used to be, he’s still deserving of a high pick.

TJ: A newcomer to Ranch Island, TJ had clearly played some ball before. When he gets a hang of wiffleball and shakes the rust off, he’ll certainly be a threat.

Joe Thompson: A first-timer and a no show. A brutal pick for Mav. Avoid drafting at all costs.

Dakota: I thought I got a perfect pick to round out my outfield. Unfortunately, Dakota didn’t show until later and then was added to a different team. Although in the two games he did play, he managed to go 8-10 with three doubles. That’s a pretty insane stat line. He’s definitely a high-risk high-reward pick going forward.

Jacob: The Pro Tour Born of the Gods Runner-up and Vice documentary star, is secretly one of the best players that come here. With 11 hits, 6 of them being for extra bases, and the ability to put the ball anywhere, it shouldn’t be long before Jacob starts coming off the board in the first round.

Sabrina: She’s quickly becoming one of the best girls out there. Her speed and tracking ability in the outfield is incredibly impressive. When she gets the hang of catching the ball a little more, she’ll be one of the best outfielders period. She’s also always a threat to hit a double at the plate.

Todd: He had a rough day. Will likely hurt his stock a bit, but we’ve all seen him at his best. The upside is there.

Caroline: I was ecstatic to get Caro in the 3rd round. After scorekeeping the past few weeks, I was fully aware that she had the best offensive stats of any girl recently. With 9 hits and 2 homeruns on the day, she didn’t disappoint.

Dani: Another secret beast. She’s a double machine. Dani didn’t have her best day at the plate, but it was likely the result of external factors. She’s still a solid pick going forward.

Yada: Yada’s offense continues to improve and impress. The only real liability is her defense. If your lineup needs a bat and your field can afford to have someone twerking at 2nd, then she’s a solid pickup.

Heather: A real power hitter. Heather can be a bit hit or miss, but all of the tools are there. When everything clicks, she’s great.

Morgan: Another first-timer. She seems like she has a lot of potential, and she still performed fine despite being fairly intoxicated. I would be very curious to see how she plays sober, or at least less drunk. Could be deserving of a higher pick.

Gina: Gina did fine for her first time out there. She’s clearly a natural athlete. When she gets the hang of wiffleball, the sky is the limit.

Nina: Nina has made massive improvements recently and should not have went this late in the draft. She’s an extra-base threat at the plate with solid defense.

Ellen: Another girl that shouldn’t have went this late. I honestly would have picked Ellen with my prior pick, but I didn’t realize she was available. She can be a bit streaky, but the upside outweighs the risk in my opinion.

Simone: My 2nd player that no-showed 🙁 .Would avoid taking her until she actually shows up.

Jessica: Obviously not the best day, but she really is improving. She was hitting the ball hard, and she even managed to hit a double at one point. I’d keep an eye on her going forward.

Noah: A pretty insane day for the last pick. He was continually ripping the ball the other way, and he made some great plays at 3rd base. We all knew that Noah had potential. I was the only one had seen him play though, and I took my guy players early. The other captains just didn’t want to take a risk on someone the hadn’t seen play before. But in the end, Adam got him and his team won. Goes to show you that sometimes you may need to take a few risks if you want a shot a winning,
